At Quilted & Cozy by Katy, every stitch carries a memory, and every piece is made with love, care, and intention.

I’m Katy—a nurse by profession and a maker at heart. My journey into sewing began as a way to slow down, reconnect, and honor the strong women in my life. It became more than a creative outlet—it became a way to feel close to my grandmother, who passed her love of sewing down through generations, and to my mother, who I lost in 2017 and miss deeply every day.

Each time I sit at my machine, I feel them with me. Their strength, warmth, and creativity are stitched into every quilt, blanket, and keepsake I create.

As a nurse, I’ve spent years caring for others—and through my sewing, I offer a different kind of care: comfort, memory, and meaning. In my home studio in Peterborough, Ontario (Canada), I handcraft personalized baby blankets, custom keepsake quilts, and thoughtful accessories that celebrate all of life's important moments.

From baby’s first snuggle to a memory quilt made from a loved one’s clothing, I pour my heart into every handmade item—because I know how much these moments matter.
