Keepsake Items:
How it Works

One of the most special parts of creating a keepsake is the meaningful process of gathering your items and preparing them to send. Choosing each item with care offers a beautiful opportunity to reflect, remember, and honor the moments that matter most.

1. Place Your Order

Please leave detailed notes in the comments  when you are ordering of how you would like your keepsake item(s) to look so that I can bring your vision to life!

This may include backing/binding colour for quilts, design elements, or special requests - such as embroidery. If you have inspiration photos please send them to cozybykb@gmail.com

Check out our Instagram for past creations & inspiration!

3. Wait for your keepsake to arrive

Now, all you have to do is sit back and relax while your keepsakes are created!

Please keep in mind that due to the nature of these customized items, it is expected that, on average you can expect to receive your keepsake(s) within 6-12 weeks (it will be worth the wait!)

2. Collect, Label & Send Inclusions

Once you place your order, you will receive detailed instructions for shipping any inclusions that you may have - be it onesies, t-shirts, receiving blankets, jerseys - whatever you choose!

This will include additional details as well as where they should be mailed to!

Keepsakes are processed in the order in which inclusions are received at my studio.

Care Instructions

Every keepsake is sent home with all remaining portions of your inclusions.

Because clothing items may hold onto scents that may be meaningful to you, I do not pre-wash inclusions. Instead, they are processed as little as possible to keep this component of your memories intact.

You will receive a quilt care card with instructions on how to care for and store your quilt when not in use. Washing instructions are included as well as a colour catcher to use during the first wash cycle to catch any residual/running dye that may come from new fabrics (backing/binding).
